French Antique Porcelain and Ormolu Clock

A very pretty antique french turquoise porcelain and original ormolu mantel clock. the ormolu in mint condition. the clock surmounted by a good urn and with further ormolu mounted urns to the sides, a shaped panel below the dial and with five further panels to the base. the ormolu decorated with acanthus and having fine ormolu feet. the panel below the dial showing a courting couple in landscape, the other panels and urns with floral decoration. the fully decorated dial with cupid flying over "plenty". the 8 day movement striking the hours and halves on a bell. movement signed japy freres and movement and case numbered 519. french circa 1880. 13. 5 inches high by 10.5 inches wide by 6 inches deep ( 33.75 cms by 26.25 cms by 15 cms).
